CBSE Class 12 Exams

The CBSE Class 12 Exams are expected to be conducted from 17th February to 4th April,2026, in a pen-and-paper mode. The CBSE Class 12 Exam Datesheet is expected to be released in November 2025, whereas the CBSE Class 12 Admit Card will be released in February 2026.

The CBSE Class 12 Practical Examination will include both internal assessment and external practicals, which vary depending on the subject. 30 marks are given for practicals in the lab-based subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026 includes 40% of the competency-based questions, 20% of MCQs, and 40% includes short and long-answer questions.
Most of the subjects follow the 80+20 (Theory+Internal) marks format or 70+30(Theory+Practical) marks according to the subject type.
