There have been allegations of NEET UG question paper leak in Bihar and other irregularities in the medical entrance exam. The allegations have led to protests in several cities and filing of petitions in several high courts as also the Supreme Court.
The Congress on Friday held demonstrations across India over the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam and demanded a probe under the supervision of a sitting Supreme Court judge.
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi Thursday launched another attack on PM Modi over the alleged irregularities in NEET and cancellation of UGC-NET. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has “psychologically collapsed” post-elections and will struggle to run a government like this.
However, the Education Minister, at a press conference, defended himself and announced a probe. “We will punish the culprits, and therefore, we have formed a high level committee to probe the matter,” said Pradhan at a press conference.
